One of the things I really appreciate about the Polly Pocket products is the well thought out designs that kids can really get into. My daughter is all about the PP dolls. She saw the cruise ship and started to drool. We had a family cruise a little over a year ago, so she pretends she is there again, and acts out some of the things we did. It is also nice that so many parts came with it. I really like that they included life jackets and other safety gear in the pieces because it helps me to teach my daughter safety and why the gear is important.
The only issue I have is that it is difficult to close the clasp that holds the ship together when closed. Other than that, my daughter adores it and I adore hearing her laugh!

My aunt and uncle gave this to my 5 year old daughter last Christmas. She absolutely loves it! There are so many activities that are possible with this playset... the dolls can swim in the pool, climb the rock wall, go parasailing, shop, eat, etc. Tons of accessories to play with. I would recommend keeping this playset in an area of the bedroom where you can leave it "set up" at all times. There are some parts (like the railings and escalator) that fall off, but it isn't more than a minor nuisance. My daughter loves dressing and undressing the dolls... it keeps her occupied for hours. I know the price seems high, but I think well worth it.Customer Review: Kids love it!

Okay tons of tiny pieces, a parents nightmare! However we didn't purchase this toy for ourselves we purchased it for our 8 year old daughter. She and her 6 years old sister love this toy. They play with it for hours, filling the pool and hot tub with water makes it even more fun!
From the parents perspective. My daughter had this item on her Christmas list and I looked for it a several stores where the cost of the item was $[...] plus! I wasn't willing to fork over that kind of money. Then I saw it here at Amazon for $[...]!!! KA-Ching!!!! Thank you Amazon! Product was easy to assemble, took less than 5 minutes!

This is a great item. My daughter got it for Christmas and ALL my kids LOVE IT. It provides many hours of fun throughout the day, and if you're brave enough to let you child fill the pool, that provides even more fun when Polly and her friends can swim!! There are lots of small pieces so if you have a smaller child at home, that may be a factor to consider. Lucky for me my 2 yr old breaks the rules and doesn't like anything in his mouth!! But other than that this is an all around excellent toy with no problems thus far, and I would recommend it to anyone that likes the Polly Pocket line. I bought this toy for my six year old daughter for Christmas. She has a lot of Polly's and enjoys playing with them. Some of the previous larger sets that I bought for her were hard to set up so I looked this one over carefully. It is easy to set up. Items stay hooked in or set up where they are supposed to. My daughter especially enjoys the pools. The accessories are cute and fun. It is a fun toy to share with a friend. I got this set for about $35. I had seen it listed for about $50 elsewhere. I felt I got a really good deal by buying through Amazon. I guess I lucked out on getting such a good price by buying at Christmas time.
