My daughter had been wanting this for a long time and I decided to get it for her for Christmas. She hasn't stopped playing with it since. It was very easy to put together, in fact my daughter (who's 10) put it together herself. So far it has held up to her and the 5 year old playing with it almost constantly. After reading some of the other reviews, I was worried about it falling apart or just being a big disappointment but we haven't had any of those other issues. Everything works fine so far, nothing gets stuck and nothing has fallen apart. I'm not sure that I would pay the regular price for this item though. I got it on sale for about $20 and it was definitely worth that, would even have paid $30 but not more than that.Customer Review: My daughter's dream toy

This is a toy my 10 yr old had been wanting desperately to add to her Polly collection but I wanted to find a good deal on it (helps children learn patience when they have to wait for things to go "on sale":) Amazon had better deal than even local stores with sales/online coupons and with free shipping, we decided waiting a few more days wouldn't hurt. It really is a pretty cool toy - kids seem to be very "mechanically inclined" when it comes to figuring out how to set these things up. This wouldn't hold up to a toddler beating or sitting on it, but then it's designed for older children anyway. My daughter has had it for a couple of months and hasn't had any problems with it - pretty large when completely set up.Customer Review: Polly-Tastic Fun!

This was a gift for my 3 year old and after much deliberation after reading other reviews I bought it. I am so glad that I did. She really loves it. It's true that it's not very durable but if she is careful with it it's fine. We have a rule that she has to ask for help to set it up and then it stays where we put it until it gets put away. It's not easy for a child to set up and take down, that's for sure. I can see how things would get broken real easily if there are no rules in place. All of the accessories are great too! The only complaint she had was that it only came with one Polly. I would definitely recommend this for someone who wants to take some care in handling it.Customer Review: Polly Pocket Plane is a hit

My 8 yr old daughter is a proud polly-pockethead! Parts are too small for little kids, but these little figurines and accessories are just right for girls in the 5-9 yr old range.
I'm not sure what the attraction is, but a guess it's similar to my youth when we would play with little army men for hours.
Over all the plane seems easy enough to play with and provides a convenient carrying case for these little buggers that can be found laying everywhere. That's why the 3 star rating....unless you have a child that cleans house every day you'll find these little pieces in every corner of your house and eventually cursing them after stepping on them in your bare feet.

My daugher received this gift on Christmas from her grandmother. The quality of the plane leaves much to be desired. The entire left side of the plane has fallen off several times, the wings continuously fall of and the toy itself if very unstable. When my 4 year old daughter turns the handle for the runway, the whole plane shakes and all of the furniture that is set up in the various rooms falls over of off entirely. The fabric clothes are virtually impossible to place on the doll - they keep falling off. All in all, I am very disappointed and my daughter is frustrated. I'm glad this was a gift; otherwise, I would feel as if I were totally ripped off!
