Toys and Games Reviews of Polly Pocket Cruise ShipCustomer Review: So Hip Polly Summary: 5 Stars
I bought this toy for my six year old daughter for Christmas. She has a lot of Polly's and enjoys playing with them. Some of the previous larger sets that I bought for her were hard to set up so I looked this one over carefully. It is easy to set up. Items stay hooked in or set up where they are supposed to. My daughter especially enjoys the pools. The accessories are cute and fun. It is a fun toy to share with a friend. I got this set for about $35. I had seen it listed for about $50 elsewhere. I felt I got a really good deal by buying through Amazon. I guess I lucked out on getting such a good price by buying at Christmas time.
Customer Review: So Hip Cruise Ship Playset - Polly Pocket Travel Collection Summary: 4 Stars
We bought this for my 4 year old daughter for Christmas. She and my 3 1/2 yr old son play together almost daily. There is some set up required(parents help needed)before they can actually start playing. So,we found a specific spot where she can play with it without having to set up and dissamble everytime. This is a really cute toy with lots of little extras(rock climbing, parasail, hot tub that you can remove to put water in) She has also rec'd Pet Spa which is just adorable and makes combined play even more fun. I prefer the "soft" clothes that this includes as opposed to the "hard click" clothes of other Polly toys.
Customer Review: Great playset Summary: 5 Stars
My boyfriend has two young daughters, I got this for his 6 year old as a Christmas present and she and his 11 year old girl just loved it. I have to agree with the first review that some of the pieces are kind of a problem to get together, but all in all the playset goes together rather easily and quickly. This was great for us because is it is inclusive. If you don't have other polly pocket sets it comes with dolls and everything they'll need to start enjoying the playset immediately. They played with this set for hours and managed not to lose anything so far.
Customer Review: Lotsa Fun! Summary: 4 Stars
My 9 yr old daughter wanted this as a Christmas present. While there are lots of parts, she enjoyed and was able to assemble the whole thing herself with a minimum of help. There were so many things to do with this toy that even her 12 yr old sister got involved playing with it! Overall, this is a great toy for those little girls that are into Polly Pockets, which most young girls in our area are (Christmas 2006). The downside of this toy might be that while it's "Lotsa Fun", it also has lotsa parts which can potentially get spread all over your home.
Customer Review: Over priced Junk Summary: 1 Stars
This thing is flimsy...difficult to put together and keep together and not appropriate for anyone under the age of 8 even though the recommended ages are 4-8. The fence will not stay on, the hammock does not work at all If it was 25$ even 30$ I probably wouldn't complain, but fo 75$ I expected something a little better and more entertaining. My 6 year old daughter got this and the Theme park for Christmas and to be honest I found both to be the most disappointing toys of this Christmas, and the biggest rip off of the year.
