I purchased the Pixel Chix cottage and a Tamagotchi for my daughter(8 yrs old) for Christmas. Within a week the batteries died in the Pixel Chix and there really isn't much to do with it. The animated pixel chic kept leaving the house so my daughter got bored with it. My daughter plays with the Tamagotchi every day. I would not recommend spending the money on this toy. It is just sitting on a desk in her room now.Customer Review: She's Annoying...

...I am 18 years old and went shopping for my little cousin and then I found this and bought it for myself. At first I thought she was really cool however, she requires ALOT of attention and it's driving me crazy. I still love the doll but I have other things to do....at least with a Tamagotchi, you can take it everywhere- you can't take this big dollhouse everywhere with you- and if I do, she's too LOUD.Customer Review: It's okay

I think that this was an okay toy. Al you can do is play a game. The games aren't really games. You can make her go outside. When she goes outside you can't watch her. you can dress her. You can make her eat something or make her go to bed. She doesn't always let you make her eat,go to bed, and go outside. As I said this is a cool toy at first, butthen it gets soooooo boring!!!Customer Review: Not Nearly Worth the Price

Got this early for Christmas and held it for our daughter.
It either eats batteries like nothing I've ever seen or it's
just broken. Very difficult for our daughter to use and only
seems to work intermittently. When it does work our daughter
just doesn't seem to enjoy playing with it much. Quite a
dud given the fact that it's pretty expensive.

I love mine! it is so much fun- u can feed them, dress them, play with them... I have the cottage. It is so worth the 30$!
Here are a few tips: 1. it's a big battery gobbler 2. Put in new batteries before you start to play with it and 3. don't leave her alone, or she'll leave you! I highly reccommend it! Unless your kid is really weird, they will love this!
