I wondered if my kids would enjoy this as much as I did when I was little. They sure do. They got it on Christmas day and we had to make them stop to go to bed. It's been a long time since something that did not require batteries held their attention like this.Customer Review: Othello

This is a great game for ages 7 and up. Very simple to learn, it takes just a few minutes. Just "book end" your opponent's pieces and flip them to your color. The player with the most pieces at the end wins. Sounds easy enough. It's strategy!Customer Review: for kids too

between chess and checkers,othello finds it's place in developing strategies.It takes a while to predict the game who can always change until the last piece is on the board.My eight years old girl like it .

My daughter played with his a few times and already lost 3 of the black/white chips. I called Mattel and they do not offer replacements! It would have been nice if it came with few extra pieces since they are easy to lose.Customer Review: Extra stars please!

This game is great, it is easy tolearn, and it teaches strategy. Mom and Dad can play with son or daughter, it's worth the 15.00. My parents shared this game with me, and now I can share it with my kids. 5 star rating!
