Toys and Games Reviews of OthelloCustomer Review: Othello Summary: 4 Stars
I bought this toy as a birthday gift for my son. My grandmother had given me this game as a child and I was happy to find that it was still around and to pass on the enjoyment of it to my children. I think the toy is both fun and durable. It promotes strategic thinking and is generally a good 2-player game.
Customer Review: A fun game but wish it was how I remembered Summary: 3 Stars
This is a fun game. I was a little disappointed however, because when I was a kid, the pieces were heavier and there weren't grooves on the board so the pieces could move easier. I thought by buying the "collectible" version, it would be how I remembered, but apparently the game had been changed awhile ago.
Customer Review: Addicted to Othello Summary: 5 Stars
I beat the MS-Windows and Nintendo versions of this game, playing at the master level. Yet I still enjoy the quirks of a human opponent. It seems as simple as Simon, but it's as challenging as chess. My trusty Othello board has provided me and my friends countless hours of entertainment over the years.
Customer Review: It's Stood the Test of Time! Summary: 5 Stars
My wife and I loved this game as youngsters and still do. I give it a 5 all the way. It is a thinking persons game. We have a 10 year old who we've just introduced to it, and she loves it too. The game can turn around at any point, which makes it exciting. Great quiet, concentrating, entertaining fun.
Customer Review: Even My five year old can play Summary: 5 Stars
I bought this game to play on New Years Eve, rather than just watching T.V. . Didn't think we'd all enjoy this game so much but we do. I was also pleasantly surprised when my five year old and I can play this together. I like that because he knows this is an "older kids" game that he can play too.
