Customer Review: Easy to learn, so much fun!
Summary: 4 Stars
I bought this game on a whim for my 13 year old daughter. We both learned the rules in about three minutes and have been playing it constantly every since. A game only takes 10-15 minutes to play. As we both learn better strategies, the game gets more fun and challenging. We usually end up playing several games at a time. Of all the board games I bought for my children for Christmas, this is the best one!Customer Review: Good game.

Classic Othello. Simple to learn it is on par with the simple strategy games of yore like Checkers, Chinese Checkers and Go.
Feel free to throw this at any kids from the ages of 5 and up and watch as they learn how to assess a situation and be less reactive right in front of your eyes.
As with any plastic game it is a bit suspect able to being stepped on, but any game is these days.

This is a good game for 2 people to utilize good strategy. My nephew was in a car accident, and they used this game for rehabilitation to help him use his mind. He came to visit us from Texas, and we had an old game from years ago. He asked us to wrap it up for him, because he has been unable to buy it anywhere! I don't know why, this game seems like it should be one of the standard type games.Customer Review: A great game of strategy & surprise

This is a simple game that is easy to learn, but never fails to surprise. Each game is different, even if you play against the same opponent. Although I am typically not very good at strategy, Othello provides satisfaction of my thirst for a challenge, yet does not frustrate me. Parents be warned: this game is quiet and takes patience. I used to play this game many years ago and struggled to find one years on. Then I thought about Amazon. I had ordered books in the past but never considered ordering games - let alone this type of game. At first I didn't think that they would have it, but they did. Well, no regrets.
