This was my 3 yrs old daughter's first Barbie and she loves it. The dress is very pretty and my daughter loves to hear her sing. I have not had any problems with the tail feather but my daughter prefers it off while she plays with her anyway. My daughter loves this Barbie ... I bought it along with the Island Princess DVD. As mentioned in other reviews, the peacock feathers don't stay in very well and Barbie doesn't sing when the racoon is in her arms, but it doesn't bother my daughter and I'm very happy with the purchase.Customer Review: nice doll

My granddaughter loves this doll, it is very durable. The Barbie voice is a very clear and beautiful voice. Goes great with the Island Princess DVD ,then the child can hold Barbie and watch the movie and sing a long, they love this.
