My daughter was given the Princess Luciana doll as a birthday present with the DVD and loved it so much that I bought this one as well. She goes to sleep with her sharing her pillow and listening to her sing in the dark. Yeah, the feathers come off fairly easily, but they snap right back in. Sometimes my daughter needs a little help with that, but it doesn't seem to frustrate her at all. I didn't see anything about the red panda singing on the box, so I'm not sure what the other reviewer is referring to. Her dress is beautiful and she is now a beloved member of the Barbie tribe.Customer Review: 4 year old girl goes nuts

My 4 year old loves the movie, and wouldn't let go of this doll on Christmas morning to unwrap anything else. She loves it.
My wife and I resisted the whole Barbie-thing, but the message of the movies (with regards to women) is better than a lot of the Disney products. If you can overlook the unattainable body image, the rest of the message is good: strong, capable, active, etc. At least she's not lying around waiting for a prince to kiss her; or waiting for an abusive, beast, boyfriend to turn into a nice guy.

My 3 and 4 year old love this doll. The singing feature is nice and works quite well. They gave up on the feathers and shoes since they fall off too easily. Hide the shoes if you have little ones like my 1 year old who puts everything in their mouth. Barbie hasn't kept her shoes on since I was a kid and I am 34! I haven't seen the crown or brush since the doll came out of the package but that hasn't bothered the girls. All in all, a cute doll with a few minor issues.Customer Review: Beautiful but Tail falls off & Panda does not sing

I bought it for my 3 year old who adores Princess Ro so much. The doll is beautiful and the gown is cute. But I'm a little disappointed with the tail that falls off every now and then and according to description the red panda sings when Barbie hold it but it didn't do anything. For $12 I paid, although the Panda doesn't sing I think is reasonable. I just hope their description is more accurate other than that my little girl love this doll.Customer Review: My daughter LOVES this!

My 2 1/2 year old LOVES Barbie ANYTHING. This doll is great for her! It sings 2 songs from the Island Princess Movie. Mt daughter brings it in and loves when I sing along with it, especially the lullaby. The peacock feathers come off easily, but it snaps right back on. You just might have to do this several times a day, or you can convieniently "lose" it for a few days. Great for any Barbie lover!
