Customer Review: Bad shipping practice!

The doll was a gift for my wife on Christmas. When she opened the box she was very disappointed to find the box partially crushed in many places. A barbie collector knows that this will greatly reduce the value of a doll.
The reason for the crushing was obvious. The barbie doll was placed in a tight fitting cardbord box with no packing materials to protect the doll and shipped to me. We are not happy.

This lovely girl arrived packaged beautifully and in excellent condition -- box still perfect and Barbie with no hair out of place and no parts missing. I would definitely buy from Amazon again and I have had an excellent experience and didn't have to fight the malls. The costume isn't as creative, fanciful, or embellished as it has been in years past. The black lace lends the "White Christmas"-like theme a little bit of a slutty feel. Our daughter wanted a Mrs. Claus Barbie for Christmas and Santa brought her this one. It was exactly what she wanted. The dress is beautiful (reminiscent of the dresses worn at the end of White Christmas) and the Barbie is so pretty with her long white gloves and hair pulled up with a white fur band around it. SHE SITS NICELY WITH CHRISTMAS CANDLES OR EVEN ON A TABLE NEAR A CHRISTMAS TREE. EVERY ONE WHO LIKES DOLLS OR BARBIES SHOULD HAVE THIS BARBIE FOR THEIR CHRISTMAS STOCKING!
