Customer Review: the squid is the best part of this toy!

My son is almost five and he loves the squid that is part of this set. It has suction cups on each of it's tentacles and you can make it stick to windows, the bathtub or parts of the boat. I'm not sure why it is made so that the tentacles can come off though and we have already lost one tentacle. The batteries wear out quickly and It never really powered the boat. It sort of sluggishly circled. Despite what I think of the toy, Conor loves it and that is the important thing. I think it looks too plasticky and fake but to him it is just an awesome toy that makes taking a bath fun. So it serves it's purpose and I have to give the makers credit for making a toy that kids love. You will need to get something to put it in because it has a lot of pieces and you don't want to lose them. I would reccomend this to a friend because it is a lot of fun for the priceCustomer Review: Lots of fun for my son. Great product.

My 5-year old now has 3 different Matchbox Mega Rig sets - the Shark Ship, the Space Shuttle, and the Squid Sub. He loves them! He really enjoys making new vehicles by interchanging the pieces.
Once in a while, he even takes these toys into the bath tub. They hold up well in the water. When we dry them, we separate all the pieces and lay them out on a towel.
We keep all 3 systems in one 12x12 bin so that he can put them away even if all vehicles are apart and in pieces.
We also cut out the backs of the boxes (with the fold-over flaps still attached) and kept them so that we can see pictures of ideas for different ways of constructing vehicles.

We Love this toy and have many of the other mega rigs as well. This one is one of our favorites. When I brought it home my 3 year old son wanted a bath immediately! It was only 10 in the morning, but who cares! He plays with it daily in and out of the tub. He loves that the pieces of all the mega rigs are all interchangable and he can create tons of different vehicles. The only slight complaint I have is that he uses the sub so much we go through Tons of AA batteries!!! We have had NO problems with any of these toys - Unbelievable in itself! Would HIGHLY recomend these toys to any parent.Customer Review: A Boat that floats

I have bought a number of boats for my Grandson but few of them actually float. This one does. His favorite part is the little motor. Unlike other pool toys this one actually works after getting it wet. It is not a very strong motor though and barely moves the boat. The biggest disappointment for him was that the big propellar doesn't spin. The squid has been a lot of fun too. I think this toy is a bit overpriced but it works better than all the other cheap boats we have bought to play with in the pool.Customer Review: Giant Squid Sub

My 5 year old grandson saw this giant squid sub on TV and asked for it for months before Christmas. We couldnt find it in the stores so I ordered it off Amazon. The service and response was great and we had it in a few days. Little Triston was elated to open his package and couldnt wait to get in the bath to play with it. He enjoys it every day now. It was a great value but the smile on my grandsons face was worth far more than the cost of the toy.
