I bought this for my grandson's birthday. It was a hit from the time everyone helped him take the toy out of the box. All the kids loved the Space Shuttle. According to their reviews, this will be a favorite for a long time. It's too soon to know if the toy will stand up to some pretty hard use. I was concerned about the number of pieces to this set but mom and grandson didn't seem a bit concerned. It was fun to watch how excited all the children got over this gift. We Love this toy and have many of the other mega rigs because of this one! It was our first one - a treat for giving up diapers - and since then we have also purchased the sub, the rescue copter, the shark ship, the snow monster, and the other piece to the space shuttle that launches into space. My 3 year old son plays with these daily. He loves that the pieces are all interchangable and he can create tons of different vehicles. We have had NO problems with these toys - Unbelievable in itself! Would HIGHLY recomend these toys to any parent.Customer Review: One of the best gifts for our son!

We bought this last Christmas for our son after a recommendation from a friend, who also owns it. He just loves it and plays with the Space Shuttle all of the time. We bring it on trips where he has no toys. It's durable and great for a four year old and up. It's hard to find toys for boys that are around four years old that don't break into a million pieces after a couple times of play or are not about fighting and killing.

My son received this for his 4th birthday almost a year ago and he has played with it pretty consistently since then. I cannot say that about most of his toys. Since it can be rearranged so many ways it really keeps my son's interest. He also has the space rover. We are so happy with this toy that we will be purchasing the pirate ship and lair for his 5th birthday. It's also cool to know the Mega Rigs are interchangeable. So I happen to see this toy last year on amazon while searching for ideas for my second son for xmas. I ordered it b/c it was on sale and something different...there were no space shuttles in our house yet! I gotta tell you, a year later and this is the one of the only toys he still plays with. My son was mad tonight b/c I wouldn't let him sleep with it. He's 3 and loves it! Even the 6 year old plays with it. I highly recommend the space shuttle as it gave countless hours of imaginative play.
