I wasn't paying that much attention to the "frustration free packaging"when I ordered this ,so I was surprised there was no packaging at all except the shipping it came in. Not great when it was given as a present. I couldn't be more pleased with this toy. My 6-yr old loves it and it has sparked quite a bit of imaginative play. The construction is sturdy and the creativity that went in to its design is impressive. I will be looking for an add-on for his forthcoming 7th birthday.
You won't be disappointed if you nuy this as a present for your little ones.

Knowing other mega rig sets I ordered this without having seen the pictures, but I had not imagines how much fun my 6-year old and his friend would have with this. Realistic enough for easy gameplay but also flexible enough to vary things. My 5 year old nephew had a blast while my husband and brother in law looked on in envy! My nephew was going to town putting it together while my sister, though liking the lack of packaging, missed the colorful graphics which she uses to put things together instead of directions! This was my son's favorite Christmas gift. He wanted a rocket that really flew, this one doesn't fly, but that did not bother him at all. He plays with it nearly everyday and builds all sorts of creative ships with it. They do make an attachment that does fly, but he is having so much fun with this one, I'll wait on that one for a while.
