Rocket ships are difficult to find for young (3-5 yr old) children, but this one is out of this world! There are many different ways to build and rebuild this toy so it keeps my son fascinated for long periods of time. He has launches to different "planets" around the house (the couch, the dining room table, etc.) and explores them all. It is a great educational tool that inspires creativity and dramatic play.Customer Review: Wonderful!

My 6 yr old loves to build and put things together. Santa gave him this space shuttle set. He ooed and awed, and then asked "Where's the instructions?" He literally played with it all day long! He even took it to our relatives house to play with it. This toy is amazing. It has almost endless configurations, and my son discovers something new every time he plays with it. 2.5 year old wanted a rocket ship/space shuttle for xmas. after much investigation, we opted for the matchbox big rig. it is by far the biggest hit this christmas. our 4.5 year old loves it as well. there are enough parts and configurations to occupy and entertain both boys and mom and dad too. it is well constructed. the only drawback so far is that the set only comes with one astronaut.Customer Review: Favorite Christmas gift this year!

My 5 year old son received this gift from his Grandfather for Christmas and loves it! It is durable and easy for little people to use. I was a little nervous when we started unpacking it because it seemed like a lot of little pieces but they all fit together in so many fun ways that it really isn't such a big deal. I got this for my 6 year old son and he loved it. His older brother (9 years old) helped him out with the assembling, not because he had to, but because he wanted it for himself.
There's a few different ways to play with it and kept them busy for a while.
My six year old wants more from this series.
Pretty cool toy, and looks impressive too.
