This was a great gift for my 5 1/2 year old boy. He has has had this for 3 weeks now and has played with it for many hours. It is a good value for the dollar. This toy has the ability to transform itself into new toys. It is part Lego ingenuity and part Matchbox car. The pieces snap together well enough that they do not easily fall apart during play. We also liked the Amazon frustration free packaging. No wires and no scissors needed. Also, saved a few dollars. I bought this toy as a gift for my 5 yr old nephew. He loves anything that has to do with the space shuttle. He definitely uses his imagination pretending he's an astronaut. I think it's a wonderful educational toy if one is interested in outer space and spaceships etc. He LOVES this toy....he hasn't put it down since I gave it to him. It's very durable and made very well to handle the way little kids play with toys. I am glad I bought it for him, and I'm sure he will get a lot of playtime with it.Customer Review: Great toy

My son loves this toy and he takes it everywhere we go. I only have this 4 star because of it durability, it is very flimsy. Also, my son got this for Christmas present and when he unwrapped it and all he saw was brown box with letter writings on it...I could never forget his expression on his face...just blank and the gift was shoved to the side. I love the fact that it doesn't have all the twist ties and the extra packaging. They should also put a picture of what is inside the box.Customer Review: So cool!

We got this as a gift for our four year old and it's so cool! There are endless combos of ways to put the pieces together. It is very durable and has lots of neat parts that shoot missiles, a rocket launcher, and even the directions are entertaining, "The aliens have captured the astronaut!" My son loves all things about space, and the only real pitfall is that it is strictly pretend. He got a more realistic NASA set last year, but these matchbox pieces are much more durable.Customer Review: Suprised

I am so suprised at how this toy has survived over the last week. It came out looking pretty cheap and destructable, but after a week of heavy play by 3 rough boys, it it still all in working order. There are enough pieces and combinations that everyone is content to play with a section at a time. Our 3 year old twins have no problems pulling it apart and putting it together in new combos by themselves. A nice bonus.
I am very happy this toy has worked out.
