Customer Review: A little flimsy, but matchbox car lovers should enjoy it

I bought this as a birthday gift for a 2 year old boy that I babysit. He loves cars and usually plays with them on the little people sets that I have. I decided to get him a true matchbox set of his own. I thought this set was the most appropriate of the ones I found online. He absolutely loved it, was excited about the truck that came with it, loved sending the truck up and down the slide. However, he was terrified of the croc that pops up to try to "eat" the cars. It growls and its eyes light up red. I took out the batteries and showed him that the croc would now stay 'asleep'. That seemed to work. The set is a little flimsier than I expected. He's not a rough boy, but I hope it lasts a while until he is less afraid of the croc - that is one of the coolest features. If you have a rough playing boy, I don't think I'd recommend this toy. Probably would be best for ages 4+ to get the most out of this set.
