my husband purchased 2 of these magic 8 balls for his 2 new supervisors at work that really don't know the job well. my husband thought it would be a great gag gift seeing as the new supers are always asking him questions. he gave the 8 balls to them for christmas . it was a hit. anyone over 35 must remember playing with a magic 8 ball. as much fun today as it was when we were kids....and the supers now only bother him with important questions....Customer Review: Couldn"t Read the Answers

It was like opening a long anticipated book, only to find most of the pages were illegible...I ordered the Magic Eight Ball for some last day of school fun. We got the eight ball out and asked a couple of big future life questions and lo and behold...the "water" inside the ball was too dark and inky to read most of the answers. I felt like we were trapped in some bad "Final Destination" movie with no future in front of us. Yikes!Customer Review: I asked if I should write a review: "Yes Definitely"

O beautiful Magic 8 Ball, you amaze me! I keep it on my desk, and it's a huge hit with co-workers of all ages. All manner of questions "Does Tom smell?" "Will my report be done in time?" are answered with the noble "Better not tell you now!" and "Reply hazy, try again!" Fun for all ages - I had one when I was a kid, then again in college, and now as an adult. I can't get enough! Perfect for the terminally indecisive!Customer Review: Who doesn't love a Magic 8 Ball??

It is a Magic 8 Ball, what more can I say. The liquid doesn't seem full enough and you have to shake it around a little more to get the saying to come up instead of the sides of sayings, but otherwise, great little toy to pass the time. Oh and when you are total cynical family, "Go ask the Magic 8 Ball" becomes the new answer to any question. (When is dinner going to be ready? I don't know go, ask the Magic 8 Ball :o))Customer Review: Sadly, it was nearly unusable

I've wanted a magic 8 ball for years---one of those tiny little childhood wishes. Finally I shelled out for one. It's inexpensive, sure, but I'd rather pay an extra dollar or two and have it be better constructed. Instead, a combination of very dark-dyed liquid inside and a cracked and warped answer piece means that half the time the answers are unreadable. The quality of construction could be far better.
