Customer Review: Fun and hilarious

I wanted something for the adults to play at Christmas that would definitely make people laugh. This definitely hit the spot. We played with eight people, of which four of them had already had their share of drinks, and that just made it all the more fun. Listening to someone try to figure out the phrases can be hilarious. For anyone who actually knows how to have a good time and wants to have fun, this game will do it. I played later with my twelve year old, and it was just as fun with her. She can't wait to play it with her friends, and my eighteen year old daughter can't wait to take it and play with her friends. I played this at a friend's party, and it was a wretched party game. It basically consists of a person reading the puzzle in a monotone voice and allowing everyone else to attempt to figure it out. It is incredibly monotonous, and a throughly awful game to play at a party.
I admire its cleverness. It took a lot of creativity and know-how to make up these challenging puzzles. But for the sake of all your guests, I emplore you: Hide this boring game. Hide it as well as possible.
The painful thing is that out of a choice between Mad Gab and Lost: The Game my friend chose Mad Gab. It's sad, really.

If you like word games and figuring out puzzles, then you will enjoy this game. It takes a bit of logic and a good grasp of popular sayings to figure out. Also, must not be ashamed of sounding insane when mouthing off phonetically. If on the other hand, you do not like word games and are not familiar with idioms, then you will not enjoy the game. As an educational toy, I believe it is a good exercise for the brain and for honing listening skills. Again, this game is truly for people who enjoy word puzzles, all others probably best to steer away.Customer Review: It doesn't pay to be a visual person

Mad Gab is a very fun and creative game. It's a team game whereby the team reads the totally random put together words and tries to guess what is really being said. For example: "New Disc Hollow Knee" answer: "Nudist Colony". It is great to watch as people clamor for the correct phrase or name, and as the card holder hears it he/she can't understand why the team isn't guessing it when they sound like they are saying it correctly. If you are an audio person you will have a field day, but if you are a visual person, you will have fits.Customer Review: Extremely fun game!!!

This Game in very fun. There are 300 cards in the box, each with 4 phrases or names on them. I brought this game to a late christmas party on Dec 26 and everyone had a great time. This game had everyone laughing (even the grumpy people). There were some phrases that I didn't understand or see before, but most of them you could guess. I think that you would need to be 12+ years old to play this game. The box says ADULT GAME, but there is nothing adult about it. This is a great buy for a game loving family and is 100% worth the money.
