I bought this sort of as a joke for my boyfriend (and his cat). It's fun and the cat loves to chase it, but it doesn't always work and sometimes you have to hit it to get it going. Seems like there's a bad connection somewhere. Definitely pretty shoddy workmanship, so if you're looking for a quality toy or buying for someone who might throw a fit if it stops working, you might look elsewhere.Customer Review: Awesom

Gave to 4 year old for birthday present. It was his favorite gift and all the kids loved it. I was worried about him being able to operate it and that was not a problem. My son received this truck for Christmas and absolutely loves it. He hasn't stopped playing with it. He quickly figured out the remote and has been driving the truck all around the house. So far it hasn't depleted the batteries.

A good toy but the one I got had a faulty battery compartment. It took a while to figureout what was wrong and more time to devise a way to make it work. After I contacted them, TYCO did sen a replacement voucher.
