Customer Review: Role Play!!!

I am always on the look out for toys that allow role play for the children, not toys that think for them or take the fun out playing with them at all. I just love the little people toys. Why? Because not only does my 6 year old daughter continue to enjoy these particular toys (plays with them everyday) but they allow role play and they can be matched up with the other accessories very easily. They are also safe for when my older baby starts walking and begins to get into everything in the house. The only downfall to this noahs ark is that there are only three pegs to hold the people or animals on. In storage or when not in use, the other animals (or noah and his old lady) have to be loosely tossed inside of the ark, which has multiple large windows. Otherwise, it is very colorful, and the sex of the animals (girl/boy) are easy to tell unless the toys get faded in the sun ((the girls cheeks are rosy)). My daughter may never outgrow these cute people and their "sets". A very wise purchase and definitely not the last for the little people.Customer Review: A great addition to the Little People world

We bought one as a present for our niece, and decided to get one for my daughter since she obviously wanted her cousin's so badly. We've been very happy with this purchase. The animals are adorable and well made, a perfect size for little hands. She's thrilled by the fact that each type of animals comes in pairs, with an easily identifiable "Daddy" and "Mommy". She enjoys lining them up in pairs and idenitifying each type of animal, whether it's the daddy or mommy, and what color it is.
The ark is sturdy, and the removable lid makes it easy for her to put the animals in and take them out again. It's also a fairly good size and holds a fair amount of figures. The other two sets of extra animals aren't that expensive and add a nice variety to the selection of animals. The animals are also big enough and sturdy enough to hold up to a large amount of active play.
Overall I'd definitely buy this toy again. My daughter loves it, (so does my niece) and they'll both be enjoying it for years to come.

Coming from a Christian household and having been raised in the late sixties and early seventies, I have found this toy to be a breath of fresh air in a toy market that is increasingly geared towards violent and mindnumbing video games. I never thought that I would be buying such "Christian" oriented toys such as this for my child. With time and age my perspective of life and morals have changed. I now find myself trying desperately to steer my new son on a wholesome path and to educate and raise him the way I was raised. So when he is older he will be able to know I tried my best and cared. In light of this these "biblical" toys, I felt, were my best bet at nuturing him in as "clear" a path as possible. I also recommend buying the animal sets that include the peacocks, alligators, etc. for an additonal $...each. I also recommend looking into the Little People Nativity set also. The father is the spiritual leader of his home and I believe these are "good" toys.Customer Review: A Very Sweet Toy!

I recently bought this for my two year old daughter, for her birthday. All her siblings got excited when they saw the toy and they are 3, 5, and 7. It is a great toy, the animals are cuter than they appear online and just the right size and shape to fit into little hands. The plastic is a sturdy matte finish and not shiny or slippery. I bought the extra animals as well, and was very pleased with the whole set. I will definitely buy more Litte People toys for them. All four of them enjoyed this toy a great deal. The only thing I can see wrong with it is that the ark isn't as sturdy as it could be. The surround, which opens and the interior/roof separate from one another when dropped, but nothing breaks. It has to be easy to open, since it's a preschool toy right? Anyway, I would definitely recommend this toy. One more good point: the extra toy sets ensure there are plenty of animals to share. We registered for this set when I was expecting and were so glad to have it to pull out of the closet when our daughter was about 9 months old. She's coming up on her second birthday and we're still so pleased with this toy. The animals are very cute - they come in pairs of course, but the female animals have a little pink blush on their cheeks and sometimes some other distinguishing characteristic to set them apart from the males. We have fun lining the animals up two by two and seeing how far across the room the line stretches. (We also have the 2 supplemental animal sets.) The Ark has fun details on/in it like a check list of the animals and a photo of Noah and his wife. The different configurations for the ark make it a more versatile toy. It also can store all of the pieces in one place. The whole set is very durable as proven by my daughter's occasional rough handling of it. Definitely recommended!
