Customer Review: Should be named "Throw Across"
Summary: 2 Stars
Our family really enjoys the original "Toss Across". I was excited when I saw the electronic version.
Pros: A variety of games. Most are variations of tic-tac-toe. Some require you to hit whichever button flashes, etc. The fact is electronic makes it fun to play in the dark--which was quite challenging.
Cons: The game piece is VERY small. About half the size of the original Toss Across. This makes it very challenging to if you are > 3 feet away. The biggest problem however, is that you can't make a "strike" if you toss the bean bags. You pretty much have to throw them as hard as you can to trigger the pad to record the strike. If felt bad because my 7 year old daughter did not have the arm strength to trigger a strike.
All in all, I would not recommend purchasing this toy. If they made it bigger and increased the sensitivity of the trigger pads, it would be a tremendous toy.
