I recently received our Mater toy. It has been an excellent purchase. Our son plays with it constantly, and we are quite happy with this; a wholesome and fun toy.
Mater's presentation is excellent. A really interesting paint job, and a durable body (which we need as our three year old can be a bit rough on toys).
My one (and only) grip about the Mater toy is that the plastic of the tow cable seems to be not-so-durable. Our son is always using it to try to "Tow" cars, and I can see the plastic is getting fatigued near the joint. He is careful with the car in this respect, as I warned him that it is straining, but I still expect it to go one day soon.
A strong buy. One of our best toys, and not too expensive.
