Toys and Games Reviews of Disney Cars: Radiator Springs Mountain Challenge Track SetCustomer Review: Waste of Money Summary: 1 Stars
This item looks really cool, and although I didn't have any trouble putting it together, it just isn't a good product overall. It's large, doesn't store well, and is wobbly. You have to have brand new batteries in it at all times, or it doesn't have enough power to boost the cars around the track. My son might of played with it, but I took it apart and returned it to look for something better. I was never able to get the wheel to spin, and more times than not the cars fly off the playset, instead of completing a round. Save your money.
Customer Review: Pretty good toy Summary: 4 Stars
My son is 3 1/2 and loves all the "Cars" stuff. This toy takes a little time to assemble, but following the directions wasn't a problem. Since putting it together it has performed pretty well. It doesn't work flawlessly every time, and sometimes the track will come unjoined slightly due to vibration and resonance, but most of the cars will go around the track at least 10 times in a row and naturally some cars characters work better than others. Overall, we have been satisfied with this product.
Customer Review: My kid won't stop crying Summary: 1 Stars
Please don't buy this toy. It was very difficult to put together, poorly designed, flimsy, will eat batteries, has an annoying sound, and is generally a huge waste of money. My 5-year old lost interest quickly and my 2 year found it so frustatingly flimsy that he wouldn't stop sceaming and crying. Also note that unless you throw it away (thereby granting yourself peace and salvation), it will take up a lot of space because you will be unwilling to disassemble and then reassemble it at a future time.
Customer Review: DON'T WASTE YOUR MONEY! Summary: 1 Stars
This toy is very cheap for the price you pay. My son got it for one of his birthday gifts, and it was nothing but a waste of our money. It falls apart all the time, you can't even move it without it falling apart. It's a pain to put it back together, especially if it's sat around for awhile, because you can't remember how it goes back together. I wouldn't even give this toy a one star it deserves a big fat ZERO! But of course 1 star is the lowest you can give. Don't waste your money on this toy!
Customer Review: Great, Fun, Hours of Entertainment Summary: 5 Stars
I was surprised to see the negative reviews of this toy. Our son (almost 5) received this toy as a Christmas gift. At first it did appear that it would be flimsy, but its flexibility is necessary - it has the feel of the old wooden roller-coasters. We even broke it down, and put it together again, after a 12-hour drive home. It was much easier to put together than others have indicated. And our son has had so much fun playing with this toy - it has been a source of hours of entertainment.
