This was the Christmas gift that we were so excited to give this year. Initially, our son was actually a little scared of the D-Rex, but he warmed up quickly to it, even naming her "Fluffy" and showing her around the house. My only concerns with this toy are the durability of the skin, which seams to have paint wearing off of it already around the collar, and the battery life. We inserted all new C batteries when first taken out of the box, and in 3 days the batteries seem to be dead already. I hope this will not always be the case, I would hope that this expensive toy isn't one that just sits on the shelf.Customer Review: Cute Dino

D-Rex is absolutely adorable. He acts like a puppy and even seems alive at times. I purchased D-Rex for my son, but I like to show him off to my relatives and friends! You can call him from the side and he will turn and walk towards you. He burps and farts and laughts at himself and will laugh at you if you do the same. He get's really angry if you hit his nose and will back up and snarl at you. If you pet him, he starts making cute noises and wags his tail. If you put somehting in his mouth he will chew it. You can ask him questions and he shakes his head yes or no. This is a fun interactive toy.Customer Review: Great Christmas Present

D-REX Interactive Dinosaur
We got this for our 7 year old son as his one Big Santa gift. He loves it. It took him a little while to understand that D-Rex has a mind of his own, you can't just push a button and he will do exactly as you want. He has found that D-Rex is terrifying to his girl cousins and loves to get D-Rex to attack. He keeps this toy by his bed at night in the guard mode, thank goodness for the battery saver. Overall I would recommend this toy to anyone with a son that loves Dino's.

Heck, even I like this toy. It's silly, it's funny, and it acts like it's going to eat you sometimes. I was hoping to have a bit more interaction than my imagination ran wild with when ordering it. It's chasing around of people is more of a slow stomp in their general direction for a bit with the growls and facial expressions that are the toy's strongest suit. I think it's a great toy, but I knock back the overall rating because the description reels you in with higher expectations. Definitely recommend reading through some of the various reviews to see if the reality of the toy is what you want.Customer Review: Just Plain Fun !!!!!!

I first saw D-Rex the Interactive Dinosaur, on television during a commercial and could not find one anywhere so I went to Amazon. And of course you had it.
This is one of those toys that is not only fun for our 7 year old grandson but the rest of the family. It's so much fun ! Its amazing what this dinosaur can do. It walks and talks,obeys commands chews on a bone which is the remote,moves its eyes, furrows its brow and loves when you pet it on the head. I would definitely recommend this toy to anyone who likes to be entertained. It was a great Christmas Gift to our grandson from Santa.
