Just bought this doll a few days ago on clearance at Kmart, and boy am I glad that I didn't pay more than three dollars for it. The wings, quite frankly, suck. They do not stay on, are hard even for an adult to clip on, and are very poorly made. I'm going to just harvest her head and stick it on a better body, and keep the outfit. Barbie Mariposa is beautiful, yes, but her super-sized wings broke within five minutes of Barbie coming out of the package. My daughter was very sad about this at first, but still enjoys playing with her wingless Barbie. Her tiara also broke. I see they now have Barbie Mariposa with smaller wings and I would imagine that is much better quality.Customer Review: Fly Away Barbie!

Like many others, I bought this Barbie thinking that it would be a reasonably durable toy for my five year old daughter. Wrong, Wrong Wrong. The wings never stuck on correctly, and fell off almost immediately. After reattaching them a dozen times, Super Glue finally made them stay. I purchased this doll for my gtandddaughter , to actually go along with the Mariposa DVD . She loves the doll so much she just likes looking at it, its so beautifull she tells me, she says she'll play with it eventually , but I think she can't bring herself to roughhouse with this doll its so unusual and unique!Customer Review: Save your money and the headache!

Purchase another doll that the wings don't fall off every-time! The wings are hard to put on and sounds like most are defective because only one falls off constantly. I wish I had bought the other doll that is $4 more. I have had to hide the wings so I don't throw the doll out the window!
