My five year old daughter has been playing with this doll for a few days now and the wings have fallen off a few times, but they're easy enough to snap back on. They're huge, so can't really expect them to stay on forever. Have not had problems with breakage, but design could be done a little better to keep them on longer.
Pretty neat feature with the wings, where they snap together to form a smaller "wing" and then when you press a button on the back, it snaps to the full larger size.
My daughter got this purely based on watching the video on cable... marketing at it's best.

I bought this doll from Amazon and was excited about it. My 'baby love' loves Barbie and has seen all the movies she is in. When she ripped through the gift wrapping paper she screamed, screeched and jumped for joy. I set up it as she and her friends stood by or sat bouncing with anticipation on the edge of their chairs. But when I push the button it didn't work.
I searched the doll through and through to find where the battery was need and still can't find.
But it looks nice and she likes it just because it's a Barbie. But, for me, personally, it would have been better if it work.

Ok, this doll is really pretty and the wings are HUGE, but they fall off like every 2 minutes! I have to keep putting them on over and over and over again! She doesn't play rough with it either, they are just too heavy for the thing they are attached to. The unfolding wings are kinda cool but you have to make sure you move her arms up so the wings can freely open. My daughter doesn't really seem to care about this option. All in all, I wish I had bought the one with the smaller attached wings, I think my daughter would have been just as happy & it would have saved us both the headache!Customer Review: I should have never bought this thing!!!

I purchased this doll for my daughter's 5th birthday. She loves Barbie and wanted this "beautiful fairy doll" for her collection. One of her biggest attraction's to this doll were the wings... but they have become MY biggest headache. They are continuously falling off, regardless of what she is doing with the doll. I feel like I am putting them back on every other minute when she is playing with this doll. It frustrates me that Mattel has put out a doll that is not up to their usual par. I would have returned this doll, but my daughter loves it so much that I couldn't do that to her.Customer Review: Wings fall off all the time

Think twice before buying this Barbie. I bought two for my girls on Valentine's Day. On one barbie, the plastic clip broke the second I tried to snap the wing on. On the other barbie, the wings haven't broken (yet), but they fall off all the time. With three children under the age of five, I don't have time to stop every seven seconds to refasten the wings. And it's not easy. It takes concerted effort and thought to snap those suckers in! I'd return the darn things, but I had to rip the box apart just to get the doll and her enormous wings out.
