BOUGHT THIS FOR MY THREE YEAR OLD BECAUSE SHE WANTED AN MP3 AND THIS WAS UNDER $20.00 AT CHRISTMAS TIME. IT WAS WORTH EVERY CENT. THE OUTFITS, FACES, SHOES...ARE FUN TO CHANGE AND THIS IS AS EASY TO LOAD AS MOST MP3s. IT USES WINDOWS MEDIA PLAYER AND IS EASILY RECOGNIZED BY YOUR COMPUTER EVEN IF YOU DO NOT DOWNLOAD THE CD (WHICH I DID NOT). IT COMES PRELOADED WITH THE BARBIE GIRL SONG AND IS NOT DIFFICULT TO OPERATE. I BOUGHT THIS SOLELY AS A MUSIC PLAYER AND HAVE NOT BOTHERED WITH ONLINE FEATURES AND PROBABLY NEVER WILL. MY THREE YEAR OLD IS ABLE TO LISTEN TO MUSIC WITH THIS CLIPPED (CLIP INCLUDED) TO HER SHIRT. tHE EAR PHONES WERE A NICE SET WITH DIFFERENT EAR PIECES LIKE SOME OF THE MORE EXPENSIVE ONES. BECAUSE SHE WAS THREE I BOUGHT HER SOME OLD FASHIONED OVER THE HEAD EAR PHONES AND KEPT THE ONES THAT CAME WITH THIS FOR MYSELF. My little daughter was very excited to get this toy, had been waiting every day for our Mailwoman to deliver it. She liked it a lot but when I was signing up for the website for her, I saw that they had put a sticker on the website instructions that changed the "free membership" for the premium parts of the website from one YEAR to one MONTH! Really! First of all, the toy never mentioned in the description that the website it accessed required a monthly fee of about 6 bucks to access the "premium" membership that makes the site usable with the accessories and things that you just bought! What a rip off! You buy the stuff and then can't use it unless you pony up for a monthly membership! Without the "premium" membership the website is basically unusable and lame. I won't be buying any more of these rip-off products Barbie/Disney.Customer Review: My 3 yr old LOVES this!

I wasn't sure if this was going to be a good toy for my 3 yr old, but I got it anyway. I'm sure glad I did! This has been her favorite Christmas present ever! It was very simple to upload songs onto and she picked up on the Play/Pause/Skip controls right away (how do kids do that?). She even figured out the volume controls all by herself (although I wish she hadn't, I don't like her turning it up too loud). The battery lasts for quite a while because we haven't had to recharge it yet and she has been listening to it continually since Christmas (4 days ago). I bought one of the Barbie girls extra clothing packs with it and she has changed it's clothes and haircolor a million times. I would recommend this toy to anyone with girls from about 3 to 8 yrs of age (my 9 yr old thinks it is cool, but likes her ipod better).Customer Review: Don't Hesitate! Excellent MP3 Player!!!

My four year old LOVES her MP3 player! All her friends have actual IPODs. There was no way I was going to buy my four year old an IPOD. I don't even have a MP3 player myself. Now all her little girl friends want one like this one. I am going to buy a second one just put back in case something happens to this one. I love the volume control. I know that she isn't going to damage her ears because it only goes so high. It is so easy to hook up and use (we have VISTA). And the price, wow wee!!! We can afford for it to be stepped on or dropped. We have not had any problems with the plates staying on. They stay on just fine, but I do have to help her do it. In another year she will be able to do it herself. I bought two additional fashion packs, and they are just adorable! Great Great product for little girls!!!Customer Review: Best gift this year

I hadn't planned on getting my 5 year old an MP3 player this Christmas, but I am sure glad I did. Her big sister took the disk and downloaded a few songs and that is all we have had to do. She has figured the rest out herself. She hasn't put it down. It is very durable given that her little brother has picked it up and tossed it around a few times. There isn't an off button, she just simply takes the headphones out. This turnes it off. The only thing I recommend is getting headphones for little ears. The ones that came with it were great, she just didn't like the way they felt in her ears. We also purchased headphones that didn't allow the volumn to loud. Otherwise, this has been a great gift this year!
