I purchased Balderdash for the Christmas crowd we'd be staying with. The ages were early twenties to mid-fifties and we all had fun. We were laughing very, very hard at times. Because the game does not require one to be knowledgeable in any particular subject or in trivia, no one has to feel like they won't do well. One can make up an answer for each round. So I would highly recommend this game of you want your group to have fun.Customer Review: Best boardgame ever!

Balderdash is a game that requires copious amounts of imagination, and a good sense of humour. Because it requires players to make up answers, the game is different every time there are new players, and each player brings his/her unique brand of humour and wit to the table. I would imagine that this game is not suitable for young children, it is definitely more suitable to adult game night than family game night.Customer Review: Balderdash

Your knowledge helps, but the strategy may also be in the manipulation of words describing things, or in how you would read out the answers. It is so much fun, you will fall of your seat laughing! This game was incredibly fun. My freinds and I had a blast trying to out do each other's answers. This is one of the funnest party games I have ever played. The best way I can describe this game is its a lot like Apples to Apples, but instead of being delt a handful of answers. You get to write your own anwsers. Yes, you read that right! My friends and I call this Bladder-dash because one of our friends has been known to laugh so hard that she barely makes it to the bathroom in time. Great group game, especially if you feel like being silly and kicking back and having a good time. I've enjoyed this game for many years now, and continue to pull it out when we have friends over.
