My sister and I started this trend of buying my dad these lightsabers for every special occasion because he loves Star Wars. Its great to see his face light up when he sees which ones we have picked out for him. As long as we can get our hands on all of them for him we will keep buying them. The Guy who gave it 1 star obviously didn't get a Master Replicas Force FX Lightsaber. Someone must have switched it with a Hasbro.
Because these things are awesome. They are very bright. Made of mostly metal. The blade is not plastic it's polycarbonate.
I have this one, the Mace Windu one, and my son has the Luke Skywalker one. I highly recommend these for fans of StarWars.

I saw this toy at the benefit premiere for Star Wars Episode 3 and let me tell you it was the best star wars toy I've ever seen in my life. The realistic power up and power down effects, plus all the different sounds, it's just amazing.
I'll be sure to get myself this one and the blue one as soon as they're available from amazon.com, get yours too...

We just got this at gamespot when we were about to check out and we got a good deal on it for [...]! my dad bought it and we are amazed on how it can make clashing nosies, up and down humming,and a realistic metal handle. The blade is very durable and i really like it. We are thinking of getting an Anakin force fx lightsaber.
