This lightsaber really does look and feel like "the real thing". It wows everyone who sees it. It's quality and realism actually match my Vader costume much better than the popular $9 saber you see everywhere. My only complaint is that the mechanism that detects the motion seems to lag quite a bit, and the sound effects often are several seconds behind your action, sometimes coming after motion has already stopped. Still, if you have $100 to spend on a really cool toy that you would have killed for when you were 8 years old, go for it!

I love this replica... although there are a few issues I have with it. First off, the response on the motion sensor seems to be a bit slow so that every wave of the saber will not produce a sound. Secondly, the light of the blade is not very bright outdoors, however it is sufficient in normal room brightness.
All in all this is a great item and certainly worth adding to any Star Wars collection. I'm very pleased with my purchase and am considering ordering the Mace Windu Lightsaber as well.

Who in hell buys toys for Hecto dollars, being a hundred plus for CHILDREN! I resent this thing even being sold! More Lucas milking for the parents and thier spectator neighbors to say "Well, you must be a terrible Dad/Mom whatever for not buying this richy rich toy for your brat! Don't be put on by the three in the picture, you get the red only! (not that all three would be worth even half this!) I don't buy such frivolouc garbage, yet my neighbors did! i am a collectioner of master replicas, and i have all of them, and i bought that one for me but the first one's lights are broken,then i bought another, but so beware of durability,this lightsaber is easy to hold the sounds are very good and noisy makes me feel like darth vader, and also i think this weapon's durability doesnt seem to me as too long so be mindful , but this weapons shape makes yu feel like a true sith, let the sith rule the galaxy forever!!Customer Review: awsome replica

Ok I got my force fx lightsaber a week ago and I,m still hooked. I remember turning it on to watch the light creep up the blade. The sound effects are fantastic, but the slashing noise it makes when ever you it it against something it kind of get,s to me. But the handle is amazing detail they say it,s a bit oversized but I think it,s just fine. The empire strikes back happens to be my favorite star wars episode.The sounds sound a lot like the movie.
