Customer Review: Be a member of the Sith or Vader in true Starwars style!

Vader's Episode 5 Master Replica saber is a big step up from its Episode 4 variation which was done in poor construction.
The technology has been improved but yet still shows that MR had much too improve.
Vader's E5 saber goes from using a Six AA battery usage down to a 3 AA style. The blade brightness is slightly increased with digital programed sounds and sensors.
The new Saber uses a 60+ Strobe LED light tube which powers up and down like a real saber blade from the movie.
The hilt has been redesigned compared to Episode 4 by placing the power switch closer to the lower end of the hilt while Episode 4's was more in the middle.
However a slight draw back is the swinging sensors. They're very sensitive and will give out the sound effect of being swung even when just holding still or just move ever so slightly.
The battle clashing sound is pretty much limited to 1 sound which is like a sizzling effect.
However for a wanna be sith or a true vader fan you can't pass this up and its perfect for you Anakin collectors.
I enjoy my Vader saber and glad I bought it when I was able to get it and you should be too!

I was given the Darth Vader model as a gift...I was blown away by the gesture. I had so much fun with it...turning off the lights and revising scenes from the movies to fit our own little group's eccentricities, offering to light cigarettes, etc. Then I vowed that if my wife was asleep by the time I got home, I would wake her up with it. They didn't believe I'd do it.
I snuck into the bedroom, held the saber over my wife, and activated it. She spun over in a panic...it was great! By the way...I am writing this to you from the hospital...
Seriously...my wife's introduction to the toy maybe wasn't fair, but when she got over the shock, she thought it was pretty cool. My friends are jealous...even the good looking female ones...the dark side is powerful, indeed! I would recommend this toy to anyone who has kids that are responsible enough not to want to kill each other with them, or who is a kid-at-heart themselves. It indeed takes a beating and is attractive to even the slightest of fans...or non-fans of Star Wars. I look forward to the Mace model!!! PLEASE MAKE A GREEN ONE, GEORGE!!!!

I just picked up this one and the Anakin lightsaber from the local Gamestop for $99 each. I have to say they are easily each worth it, without a doubt. Just to point out, the saber itself is larger in size compared to the real thing, to accommodate the electronics, put still just fits the hands easily enough. I just got done mounting both display stands and the sabers look great there, almost as if I were mounting a pair of katana swords (Haha!).
This should go without saying, but I would handle these lightsabers with care, not swinging them at anything with too much Force (another joke...haha!) Seriously, they are a great collection piece and add a lot of WOW! factor to your Star Wars collection.
Finally, as I understand it, the Anakin lightsaber is hard to come by so good luck. I'm hoping to see the Luke Skywalker lightsaber from Return of the Jedi or even Mace Windu's blade would be sweet.

I bought one Darth and one Anakin Lightsaber from Best Buy before the movie was released. They are supposed to be for my two boys (3 and 6), but I will be keeping them somewhere safe. Playtime will be short and supervised!!
The quality is fantastic and they look and sound great!
I was incredibly lucky to stumble on the Darth Lightsaber - they were only getting a couple a week and were being bought minutes after hitting the sales floor. Employees were buying them before they even made it to the floor in some cases. The Darth one was partially hidden and from the look on the salesman's face, he had his eyes set on that one. I grabbed one Anakin and the last Darth, payed for them, locked them in my car, then went back to finish shopping.
My son looks great with his Darth Vader voice-changer helmet and his new red lightsaber!

He leído los reviews de los demás compradores, y me confirman que quiero definitivamente este Sable de Darth Vader, ya tengo el Voice Changer Helmet y los guantes de Hasbro, estoy haciendo yo mismo el traje completo de Vader y solo me falta el Lightsaber para completarlo.
Estoy tan ansioso te tenerla que a pesar que pedí que se me notificara cuando estuviese disponible, visito la página de Amazon varias veces en el día... esperando que solo esté disponible para comprarla...
También tengo dos videos la de Anakin y la de Vader funcionando, los cuales me dan más noción de como funciona.
Ojale lleguen suficientes para todos los que quieren adquirirla, suerte para todos.
