I bought a Marshmallow Shooter and Blaster because my little brother had one and I thought it would be great for the dorm. I was not let down! Now half my friends have one or the other and we have little wars in the dorm hall.
I'll admit I couldn't get the shooter to work at first, but I called the manufacturer and they were extremely helpful and helped me realize I was loading it wrong. They also told me if I ever had any problems to call them again and they would help or replace the items if they ever broke.

Initially the shooter didn't work at all, only shooting out a marshmallow every 4-5 pumps, then getting jammed. We would then need to clean it out to remove all the sticky residue, let it dry completely, and try again. We then looked at the reviews and tried several of the suggestions left by other purchasers, including corn starch, smaller marshmallows, loading end to end, etc. Nothing seemed to work. We returned the product. There are a lot of other positive comments, but we really had no luck with this marshmallow shooter!Customer Review: Very disappointed with the Marshmallow Shooter

We purchased the marshmallow shooter last week for my 8 yr. old and we are extremely disappointed with it. We haven't tried using pellets with it (it didn't come with pellets) but it doesn't shoot more than 2-3 marshmallows before jamming up. Once it jams up we have to take it apart, wash it thoroughly, dry, and reassemble. Then it shoots another 2-3 marshmallows and jams again. It definitely is not worth the money, doesn't work well and is poorly designed. I have to recommend not buying this toy. Don't waste your money.Customer Review: BEST TOY PURCHASE IN YEARS!!!

MY BOYS AND NEPHEWS ABSOLUTELY LOVE THESE!! (Especially the 6'5" one - my husband)! Had a group of 12 fifth-grade boys over for a birthday party and the marshmallow guns were the hit of the party - all the boys were talking about them at school the next day. They occasionally get jammed up - just push what's in there out with a pencil, run a little hot water through there and dry it out... you're ready to go again! A little cornstarch on the marshmallows helps keep things dry and shooting smoothly. AWESOME PRODUCT!Customer Review: No problems with mine. Just use it!

I don't know how people write in saying they don't work. Every year for four years I've been bringing another one to my family christmas to start a new, bigger battle. None of the four have ever jammed or broken. I think the catch is you can't ream on them. If you're using force like your life is actually in the balance, then they may not handle it, but if easy on them, using the force of say, a 6 or 7 year old would use, they will last you for years. A great, fun, innocent toy! Eat the ammo later!
