My 9 and 5 year old each got the deluxe set this Christmas, and so far they love it! The directions are not real specific, but we have learned to wet the beads throughly and let dry before turning out and spraying the other side. My 5 year old can be hard on things, and he has yet to destroy any of the creations. The 4000 bead refill kit is a must..look for when there is a deal on them!Customer Review: Good fun for Girls!

I bought this for my 8 year old daughter who asked for aqua dots last year and pixos this year. These were priced better and she has had a lot of fun with them. My only complaint is the dispenser pen broke on the first use but it hasn't slowed her down she just places the beads with her hands. I recommend getting the extra refill pack too.Customer Review: The kids love it.

It is fun. No iron. My kids spent hours playing with it. Now we are out of the beans, and I didn't find cheap refills. My kids (6 & 4) have been asking for it all the time.
The only issue I can think of is the pen broke very quickly. Actually it is a headache to load the pen. My kids just use the fingers to get the little beans.

These Magic Beads are pretty fun for my 6 year old son. He loves making different designs and it holds his attention for quite awhile. The pen that comes with these kits usually breaks within 10 minutes, so don't bother. My son enjoys just putting the beads together with his hands.

I bought Magic Beads for my seven year old daughter. She loves playing with her Magic Beads. For me, as a single mom, it is well priced compared to others on the market (I have shopped around), no mess (water and beads), and it makes my little girl happy. I would definitely recommend this product.
