Two months ago, my 8-year old son found out about Pixos (aqua dots). While looking on Amazon for Pixos, he discovered Art-Tastic Magic Beads. I looked at the reviews and they were good. Santa got this for my son and his 5-year old sister. My son said it was his favorite gift, and has nothing bad to say about it. The only negative comment I have about the toy is that I find beads all around the house. A more secure container would be nice.Customer Review: GOOD FUN

After reading reviews of this product vs pixo's, I opted for this product. We have been enjoying this since Christmas Day! My 11 yr old and 7 yr old as well as myself are having quite the fun. It took us one night to figure out the right mix of water and dry time. My advice is to let your creation dry for much longer than the 10 minute time frame recommended in the directions. Make sure to get the extra beads, you will need them!Customer Review: Defective pieces

I purchased this Deluxe set and the zoo set and in both, the dispensing pens were defective. In reading the reviews, I see this is a common problem. In the Deluxe, the blue storage case would not close. In both sets, the pattern tabs did not fit properly into the trays so if you bump the tray, the pattern goes off. My kids are 4 and 5 and I prefer that they be able to use the dispensing pen. I am planning to return these.Customer Review: Excellent value!

Shh...don't tell anyone! I bought this for my TEN year old son and he loves it! He still loves to make crafts now and then and this is great. It's not too girly and he can come up with his own designs to make whatever he wants. It's VERY easy to use. No mess at all. Just a spritz of water and viola! You have a CREATION!
I'd buy it again! I'd give it as a gift! I was very pleased with this purchase!

My daughter is the infomercial Queen as she can recite almost every one out there! I was hesitant to buy this set since she had been asking for the Pixos set, but for the price I couldn't pass up the chance. Great set comes with easy to use templates, sorting trays and beads. I agree it is wise to buy extra beads right away as she had almost all the beads used up within a few days. Great product for the money!
