Customer Review: Fun to play once in a while - but gets boring

I purchased this for my 7 yr old son. He loves baseball so I thought this was perfect for indoor play. He played it for quite a while the first day he got it and then it hasn't really been played since (over two weeks). There's just not much challenge about it. For instance, if you hit anywhere near the catcher's glove - you pretty well can strike the person out. I counts your strikes and balls and tells you what inning you are in. It also shows total throws on LED. It has a lot of fun calls, but gets annoying after a while. Two people can play and try to beat each other's score, which in my opinon is more fun then playing solo. Two things: it is VERY loud and there is no volume. Also, I wish it had a pocket to store the ball in so you don't have to hunt the ball down. You can use any ball I'm sure, but you wouldn't want anything too hard that would hurt your door. Other than that, I think it is quite well made and should last for a long time. We paid less than $15 for it and I think it is definitely worth it. I don't think I would want to pay anymore for it though. Also, I think any age would enjoy this.
