Toys and Games Reviews of Manhattan Toy WinkelCustomer Review: Great toy Summary: 5 Stars
We got this for our son when he was about 3 months old. It was his favorite for awhile and now at 7 months he still plays with it. It's so easy for little hands to hold and I loved watching him practice holding it different ways and transfering from hand to hand. Bright colors but not obnoxious and the rattle makes just enough noise. We keep this one in the car since it's so easy to hold on to. It still looks brand new and has shown no wear in the 4 months we have had it. Very pleased with this product, and all Manhattan Toy products so far.
Customer Review: Great toy and Great gift! Summary: 5 Stars
This toy is the greatest. It is my go to gift for any baby. Everyone I give it to ends up asking me where to get one so they can gift it!
My daughter used it until she was about 8 months. We had it attached to the stroller with these links Bright Starts Lots of Links and she was always fascinated with it. She used it as a teether but also just to hold and play with. It seemed to help her dexterity.
Get it!
Customer Review: Another great Manhattan Toy Company toy Summary: 5 Stars
I bought my daugther the Winkel at the same time I got her the Skwish. The Winkel we give her in her crib to play with for some "quiet" play, as the rattle is not very loud, it is soft, so there is little risk of her "banging" or hurting herself with it. The loops make it easy for her to grasp and definitely encouraged her to grab it with one hand and pass it to the other. She loves to wave it, and especially loves chewing on the loops. Its easy to clean as you can just rinse it off with some warm water and dry with a towel.
Customer Review: Seemed like a great idea... Summary: 3 Stars
After reading reviews, I really did think this was going to be a hit with my heavily teething 7 month old son. Not so much. He enjoys playing with the plastic "c" rings I use to attach it to his swing or carseat instead. Oh well. It does win points however, for durability. It's also very easy for tiny hands to grab during their 'racking' development, as well as being light weight. My only slight concern is that when he is on his back playing with it, the toy is rather large and bops him in the head/face quite often.
Customer Review: Must Have! Summary: 5 Stars
Love, love, love this toy. My oldest son (now 2) loved it as a baby. Easy to grasp, easy to get in his mouth, travels nicely, can't say enough good about it. My youngest is starting to enjoy it now (2 months), however his older brother has rediscovered it as a sort of "ball." He gets bent out of shape when his younger brother is playing with it - so not only does it teach hand / eye coordination, work as a teether and ball, but now we are using it to teach sharing! Great toy - you can't go wrong with this one.
