I tried several rattles and toys with my newborn son before I got the Skwish. He interacts more with this toy than with any other. The bars and bands make it very easy for him to grip and the beads make a fun rattle sound when he bats at it. He loves to hold it and chew on the beads and it should keep him interested as he grows and learns how to squish and pull it and move the beads.Customer Review: Fun for babe and parents

We got this as a gift and this was a favorite toy for the early months, especially when he first started to teeth. It's colorful so it catches their attention, lightweight so they can wave it around, the knobs are small enough so they can get it in their mouth to chew on them, and it makes a wonderful noise. It's also super durable and I'm sure will be passed on as our family grows.Customer Review: best non annoying toy

we love this toy, both our son (4 months) and us as parents. our little guy received this from a friend of ours, and he loves to grab hold of the black stretchy cables and tries to shove the entire thing in his mouth. it's his favourite toy by far, and it doesn't make much noise so it's nice for parents to listen to without having annoying lights and music to deal with.Customer Review: Great for newborns to 1 yr+

This was my daughter's first toy and she just turned 1 yr old and still loves it. It was easy for her to grab when she was a few months old and she loved sucking on the ends, still does sometimes. She's walking now and carries it around. I also like the fact that if she falls on it, it just squishes and doesn't hurt her. I just bought one for a friend's baby shower too.Customer Review: not interested in it

I thought my 7 month old would love this toy. She goes for it every once in a while but not often. She mainly chews on the ends. I also get nervous that she is going to fall on it and the round ends will poke her eye out! I do leave it out for her when she's sitting nicely. She much perfers the Rino obal rattle!!! Maybe she will enjoy it more when she is older.
