Customer Review: Great for developing gross and fine motor skills, and creativity

This is an exceptional toy, that combines the gross motor skill training of block, the fine motor skills training of fitting pieces together in the correct manner, and the creativity of learning how to use different pieces to make unique creations.
It's solid wood, good quality, and well-packaged. The vehicles are made in the USA, although the wood is German beech wood.
The price is a bit high, but this isn't a "mass market" toy, this is a toy that seems like it could be passed down to your kid's children. Obviously, you can tell I was very happy with the toy.

My boys got this as a Christmas gift and it is by far their favorite toy. The car comes apart but can easily be put back together by little hands. I saw a review that they were made in China and I saw on the bottom of the toy that they were assembled in China (not sure what that means). It is worth checking with the manufacturer to see if they are indeed made in China or the US, if that's an important consideration. I have to tell you these are very well made (heirloom quality) so that to me justifies the price.Customer Review: lots of fun

I don't own this toy. It looks like fun and it will keep kids who like cars or kids who like wooden toys occupied for a while :-). If you own multiple automoblox (of course I don't) you can switch the parts to make your own automoblox car! I like the c9. I also like the s9, t9 and the m9. I do think it should be $10.00 to $15.00 but I still like it. And a neat thing about automoblox is that there is a unique 17 digit VIN (Vehicle Identification Number) on each car that you can register online. You don't have to be middle-aged (and male) to appreciate a nice sports car. And you don't have to be all grown up to appreciate a beautifully-crafted wooden toy. This sportster is just one of many modern Automoblox car model do-it-yourself kits, including coupe, SUV, and compact for eco-concious kids. We now have three of the automoblox cars. They are a great toy and happen to be the only toy my 4 year old son hasn't lost a part of. They are easy to pull apart and put together and are sturdy. They are a tab pricy, but the fact that they have lasted as long as they have makes up for that. He enjoys having 3 of them now so that he can mix and match the parts. My babysitter is going to get more of them for all of the kids to play with.
