Customer Review: Quality, Imaginative toy

Our son now has 5 of these cars and LOVES them. He is only a little over 2, recommended for 3+, but he loves mixing and matching all the pieces. It has been great for his fine motor skills. He can line up all the parts, even the tiny wheels. My parents also got some for their house. We haven't had any parts break after several months of use. We have somehow managed to keep track of all the pieces, too. I have a feeling we will be collecting a lot more of these.
As a side note, if you do lose the wheels, you can buy more on the Automoblox website.

Recommended age for this toy is 36 months, but my 20-month old daughter was never a "mouther", so I wasn't too worried about her swallowing small parts. She was very fascinated by these cars, and she figured out the concept of pegs and holes surprisingly quickly. She was able to put together various cars by herself and entertained herself for 30 minutes at a time, a very long time for a young toddler. We might increase this collection in the future, but it was definitely one of the best toys for her in her second year of life.

Never played with one before I bought this set of 3 mini's for my 2 year old son for Christmas. He's maybe a little young to do anything than play with them as cars, but my 4 year old daughter loves rearranging the parts to make mutant cars. I think it's a lovely idea & a good experiment in design. The cars are really well-made; very solid feeling and the wheels have a very fluid, controlled movement to them. And they're just so colorful & almost whimsical. They're a fun toy for my children, and stimulates innovation.Customer Review: Kids have to fight me to play with them

Fantastic little cars from Automoblox. Bought them for my kids after not being able to find them in the stores. They have the same durable construction and sleek design as their bigger counterparts. My kids loved showing them off in pre-school, and I typically keep one or two at my desk when I need a minute of diversion. Great birthday toy for 2-4 year olds; no one else will bring the same thing! Can't wait until the different colors and styles come out. I got this package of 3 mini Autoblox for my 3 1/2 yr old son and he loves them. He has spent quite of bit of time mixing up the pieces to create new looks. The cars are small enough to carry around, especially the red C9. The cars roll very smoothly and are nicely constructed. They have been hauled outside for use on concrete and dirt and have held up well to a good cleaning afterwards. If you have younger children the small wheels and rubber tires are likely choking hazards, but that's my only con.
