I just recently did my 1st make a plate with my 2 boys and my 3 nieces and it was so fun! The kids got to be creative and make something that moms and dads can keep forever, and I do mean FOREVER! I know several members of my in laws family have been doing make a plates for the last 20-25 years and they have a stack of about 10 plates that have been through rigorous use and through the dishwasher a ton and they still look great!
When the kit is purchased it comes with 1 free plate (you do have to pay a $3 processing fee) and then each additional plate that is purchased is $7.95 + $3 processing fee. The kit comes with enough supplies to make 5 different plate templates, just color your picture on the provided paper and mail away the designs. I will also add that when my 5 plates arrived, one of them had a bit of a blister on the top and I was worried that it might affect the durability. I called makit products and they were super friendly and very apologetic, she had a replacement sent to me in less than a week! Great customer service is always a plus!!! I highly recommend this project!

Do not microwave.Create your own Make A Plate in three easy steps. First, create your design using the enclosed special markers and paper. Then, send to the Magic Factory for plate making. Las, receive your unique plastic plate.
Includes special art paper for your unique creation, one package of Make it felt markers, complete, easy to follow instructions, pre-addressed return envelope, a processing certificate for one 10" plate, order form plus "rush" service label.
