Toys and Games Reviews of MGA Little Tikes Wide Tracker Activity WalkerCustomer Review: It's just "OK" Summary: 3 Stars
This was a gift, and it came just as my little one was starting to cruise. I wouldn't buy this myself because it just wasn't that much fun. It did assist in walking, but mostly the letters were carried around, doors ripped off etc. If you are on top of things & put it all back together after each playtime, then you won't lose the pieces. Otherwise, they'll be in the toy pile (or under your sofa!) Other children who came over just learning to stand up would try to climb on it after the doors were off. So it was a constant battle pulling them off so they wouldn't get hurt. Mine never tried that but mostly pulled the doors off to carry them or the letters around. That part was fun, but kept me busy tracking down the pieces. haha!
Customer Review: So Dissapointed Summary: 1 Stars
We bought this walker on sale when my daughter was only 2 months old. Now at 9 months, she is walking well on her own with no thanks to this walker.
The brakes on this walker are all but useless - the wheels just don't like to go, period. In addition to that, the toy is so lightweight that pulling up is impossible because the baby will end up falling backwards (in my case, always falling on her head instead of landing on her butt).
As far as the doors go, my baby thinks that it is the greatest game in the world to take them off and have mom replace it! And she hasn't even begun to figure out how to put the "mail" in the mail holders on the side.
This is a really cute looking toy, but the functionality lacks.
Customer Review: KEEP ON LOOKING~DON'T BUY IT! Summary: 1 Stars
I bought this for my 10 month old son. It is pretty sturdy, however, the doors as well as the envelopes that come with it are lost somewhere in the house! The doors do come off with little or no effort and thus making it possible for my son to climb onto it and stand, which makes me very leary to turn around for a moment, because it looks like he will tip over. He played with it for approximately 30 minutes and his 4 year old brother like to use it to try to run over him and the dog with it! I like the speed control of the wheels, but would be better if the wheels clicked or made noise of some kind. It doesn't teach you anything at all! Keep on looking unless you are prepared to keep putting on the doors and not let them climb on it!
Customer Review: Worthless Piece of Crud! Summary: 1 Stars
I bought this walker after much debate over the fisher price one. The only reasons I decided on this one was because it said you could adjust the speed of the wheels, and because we have purchased many "Little Tykes" products in the past and had been happy. WELL...You can't adjust the speed of this walker because it just slides on the floor. And Those Stupid Pieces Of CRUD Mailbox doors keep getting pulled off. I have twin girls and after they would pull off the mailbox doors, one will stand in the dang walker while the other one pushed it...can you say "emergency room here we come"! Neadless to say-I have now put this one in the closet and went to buy the Fisher Price light and sounds walker...much better!
Customer Review: Not so great! Doors fall off and collapse with pressure. Summary: 3 Stars
We bought this toy to help our son (9 months) learn to walk. Immediately when putting it together we had a problem - the doors don't stay on - they are too loose and with just a little pressure they fall off. To solve the problem-we took the blue door off completely and put the green one where the blue door was - which was a much tighter fit. When we engaged the toy to an upright walking position it was not sturdy and would collapse with pressure. All in all- I would say its not so great but now since he's getting the idea of cruising and not putting so much pressure on it - he can walk with it. I was disappointed in it - but we adjust - now we place the door down and use it as a mock stroller for his toys.
