Toys and Games Reviews of MGA Chou Chou Mommy, Make Me BetterCustomer Review: Great for your little girl Summary: 4 Stars
Great fun! My little girls just love going through the whole process of making the baby get better. You start by making it cry, then putting in the thermometer makes it stop crying, etc etc. I love how the face gets red with fever. This doll is a lot of fun.
Only negatives I could think of it there are a bunch of little pieces. Keeping them all together with the doll is a challenge. Would have been nice if they had a little carry case that went along with it for all the pieces. Also, it states that you have to hold the Heart (bo bo) down on the babies arm for 2 minutes to make the bo bo go away. I don't know any 3 year old that will sit still for 2 whole minutes long pressing down to make it go away. So, we've never gotten rid of the bo bo.
Overall, wonderful toy. I purchased for 24 bucks and worth every penny of it because my girls play with it all the time - regardless of my opinions!
Customer Review: She seemes so real it makes me want to take care of her...... Summary: 5 Stars
This doll is so amazing! We got this for Emily after seeing it at a friends house. I really didn't think she would be to interested just yet, and thought I'd put it away for later. But it seems Baby Chou Chou was the one gift Emily wanted to play with! (with some help from us) She interacted and reacted to this doll like I've never seen before. Heck, I want to do things for her too. Her laugh is just adorable!! Emily goes for this doll quite often. We keep all of the components away from Emily but within our reach just in case Chou Chou gets a fever. The price on Amazon could not be beat & for free shipping it made it here within 2 days! We are very happy with Baby Chou Chou & Amazon!
Customer Review: think that it is cute, butmy daughter got tired of "making her all better" Summary: 4 Stars
I like how to make the doll "feel better" (and you know she isn't feeling good by her red cheeks). There is a systematic way to make her all better (i.e. you have to first take her temperature, check her heart, etc). It teaches patterns and instructions. However, my daughter said to me other other day, "I am tired of making her all better. she is always sick!" And, my daughter is only 3! It is sturdy though and you can play with it like a regular doll because you can turn it off, which is nice. I like it a lot, hopefully after I put it away for a while, she gain new interest in it, like most of her other toys. But, sometimes the plain dolls that don't "do" anything, are just as good!
Customer Review: A Perfect Birthday Present Summary: 5 Stars
I recently gave this doll to my daughter on her 3rd birthday. She fell in love with it. It is light-weight and easier to carry than the Talking Baby Chou Chou. When a button, is pressed on her back she begins to cry and her cheeks begin to glow, at that time your child gets to take the baby's temperature and give it medicine. The cry sounds very realistic, yet is quiet enough not to be annoying. Once the baby has been taken care of she will giggle. Every time the baby giggles my daughter gets a big smile on her face. She also likes the "boo-boo" on her arm. The doll comes with 3 band-aids; however, she usually needs help with them. Overall a good investment for the price.
Customer Review: my 6 year old loves playing "mommy" Summary: 5 Stars
My 6 year old had asked for this doll for months before Christmas. She was delighter to receive it and takes it to bed with her every night.
The concept is cute and my daughter likes to pretend to be "mommy".
The boo boo on the arm doesn't really work too well as it disappears only when heat is applied and reappears soon after, but that's no bid deal. The doll's body is soft (except for the battery compartment) and she has a sweet looking face. It's a shame batteries are not included, but that seems to be the case most of the time these days.
I recommend this baby doll as a good buy for your daughter.
