Ah Psycho, one of the most overrated films of all time but with one of the best serial killer villains. Most people haven't even seen it but know the shower scene and the poster image of Janet Leigh screaming. Which is why I'm suprised they didn't use that famous image in the skeleton picture frame that comes with this. Instead they use a different promotional poster, (see my customer images), which isn't bad but, yeah not the real famous Janet Leigh black and white face screaming one.

The only other accessories you get with this are a butcher's knife to recreate you own bates stabbing action, and the wig Norman wore pretending to be his mother. Of course since he's already wearing her dress you'll probably mostly have him in the wig. Disappointingly they don't have Norman wearing the clothes he was seen by his guests in for most of the film underneath the dress. Being able to switch between him as his mum and him as Norman in other scenes would have been much more fun. In fact the dress is completely solid hard plastic, not material at all. Likewise if you look underneath past his shoes that have holes where obviously he was originally going to be on a promotional stand before McFarlane changed their mind, you see nothing but a flat bit of plastic past his socks (see customer image).

Like all McFarlane Movie Maniacs this was pretty cheap when it first came out and was more than worth that price. However now the price of these things is a lot more so is it worth it, well up to you but if mine had been more than US $25, I wouldn't have bothered. Incidentally there's a range of great figures under the Movie Maniacs brand by McFarlane which are easily the best of the lower priced horror action figures. Jason Vorhees from Friday the 13th, Freddy Krueger from Nightmare on Elm Street, Ghost Face from Scream, Chucky from Child's Play to name just a few.

The only other good Alfred Hitchcock movie figure that I know of is surprisingly under the Barbie brand and is for The Birds.
