UPDATE:
We just spend our afternoon in hospital ER because one stick "exploded" when my daughter bent it to light it up. (It wasn't like she bent it in half repeatedly. She was just bending for the first time!) The chemical splashed on her face in both her eyes and on the wall behind her. It was an accident and there was nothing we could have done even with close supervision. However, it happened because the product is poorly made. As my review earlier indicated, these glow stick has much higher ratio of leakage then another brand I bought before. But having it break like that and get the chemicals in her eyes and have to rush to the hospital sounds and is extreme but it happened. The chemical burnt her eyes and they were red and swollen by the time we got to the hospital. Before that we spend at least 15 mins flushing her eyes with water and she just kept crying saying they hurt really really bad. No parents or kids should have to go throw this kind of thing. The hospital checked out the chemical and said it was non-toxic, thank god. I am getting rid of the rest of them even though I must have used only 10 so far. I just want to warn any other parents out there no to buy this product.
I bought these because they were the cheapest I could find for a small quantity. They glow pretty bright for only a couple hours, which is fine as I give them to my 3 year old as a special treat. Unfortunately these glow sticks, unlike another brand I purchased before, leak VERY easily. So if you intend to let little kids use them, make sure to supervise closely and don't let them band them in half. Otherwise, kids just love these glow sticks.

Your order will contain an even mix of 5 colors -- Blue, Green, Yellow, Orange, and Pink. Your order will also contain 100 connectors so you can hook the ends together to make bracelets, necklaces and more. Glow bracelets contain two non-toxic chemicals that emit light or glow when they are mixed together. Inside the glow bracelets is a thin glass tube containing one chemical and surrounded by the other chemical, when you bend it for the first time, you break the inner glass tube. This mixes the two chemicals together inside the plastic bracelets tube. Just shake it up and presto -- it starts glowing like magic!
