Toys and Games Reviews of Lucky Ducks

Customer Review: Next time...Read the reviews before you buy
Summary: 3 Stars

I purchased the Lucky Ducks game for Christmas for my two daughters one is 4 and the other is 2. The game is cute and fun to play, but I wish I would have read the reviews before I bought the game. This game is very loud and annoying after about 1 minute. I tried putting tape over the holes where the sound comes out of but, it was no help at all, the sound comes out of the entire game. I store the game in the toychest, and whenever I put something else near the game the quacking sound starts and my 2 year old wants to play the game. She loves it!! If there was a volume control or mute button, I would feel much different about the game.

Customer Review: Loud, but fun!
Summary: 4 Stars

We bought this toy for our high-energy 3.5 year old, who is easily bored by simple board games. The pluses of this game are that it is quick to play, can be altered to fit the patience and skill of each child, and for some reason kids just love to see those ducks in the pond! This game is good for teaching turn-taking skills and surprisingly, kids catch on to the stragies to win very quickly. The negative, is that this toy is just too loud. We had to yell over the volume of the toy, and unfortunately, there is no volume control. For those annoyed by the volume, we has some success placing duct tape over the speaker.

Customer Review: This IS what it's quacked up to be!
Summary: 4 Stars

I bought this for my three year old, because she loves anything to do with rubber duckies. After a few tries she got the concept. It is one of the few games she sits down and plays. It teaches her colors, taking tuns, memory skills, and winning or losing. I highly reccommend this for kids who aren't quite into complex board games. Yes, it is loud, but the sound does not bother me at all. My daughter has fun with this game, and I enjoy playing it with her. I like that she can even play this alone if she wants since it is a spin-off of a memory game. I would reccomend this game!

Customer Review: The Ducks may be lucky but you are in ...
Summary: 4 Stars

12 little ducks go quacking merrily around in a circle, so happy looking. Quack, quack, quack. My two year old loves to turn them on and play as they go round and round. Quack, quack, quack. I know that my parents who bought this toy for their granddaugther love me very much but I begin to wonder if they are holding a grudge with respect to some of the music I listened to as a teen. Quack, quack, quack. They say not but then they look at eachother and laugh quietly. Quack, quack, quack. They could laugh much louder and I still would not hear them. Quack, quack, quack...

Customer Review: Great toy
Summary: 5 Stars

I recently purchased this toy for my 2 1/2 year old daughter and she loves it. The ducks are so cute quacking and swimming around the "pond". We have created our own version of the game. We take turns pushing the big red button to start and stop the ducks. When the ducks are stopped, we each pick a duck and match the duck to it's home color. This game creates fun while learning. I must admitt the quacking gets a little old, but what child's noise-making toy doesn't. My daughter loves to play this game, and I would recommend it to anyone.
