Customer Review: A 4-year olds' favorite Christmas toy!

Purchased for my four year old grandson....of course he had many other gifts but this was IT for him. His dad put it together (took about 3 minutes) and from that point on the child carried the whole thing, bat, balls, tee-ball stand, around the house the rest of the day...! That was in between begging to have people go outside with him and play ball with it. (And, yes, they did, his dad and two older brothers.....a big hit with all of them...I teased the 14 yr old if only I'd known he wanted a tee ball set...!)
It was one of the least expensive gifts he received and yet this was his definite favorite, at least for that day.
By the way, on the ratings, above, I just don't believe every toy has to be "educational"....some can just be "fun"....!
My sons grew up playing soccer from ages 5 and 6 through varsity soccer in high school....they benefited so much from having to work within a team concept, with the discipline and self discipline required, and even with learning how to deal with defeat and the other not-so-good aspects of team sports (spoiled kids and their demanding parents who insisted their child ALWAYS have the best position and start every game...that sort of thing...).
I doubt Matthew will grow up to be a professional baseball player, but for the moment he was glowing with happiness with this tee-ball set!
