After five years, we just got rid of this to make more room for more toys! The cart is so durable, and my kids keep things neat and clean, that we were able to sell it to another family.
Both my kids loved this toy. They played with it while they were younger (until about 3 yo), then they wold just take it out from time to time. Mostly, we used it for storing toys.

My nearly two year old daughter totally loves this toy. She uses it for transporting all her small dolls around the house, but also likes to "drag race" with it. It's very sturdy too -- I have a feeling, this one is going to be in our house for a very long time.

I purchased this grocery cart for my 4 year old son and 2 year old daughter and they both LOVE it. I had searched for quite sometime for a sturdy basket and this is it!! It's tall enough for my 45" tall son to use comfortably and chunky enough for my 2 year old to push it with ease. Assembling takes a little time but once it was all put together it looked great!! Both kids play with it and often times argue over it. It has a seat for "baby" and that has been a lot of fun for my little girl. My son likes the open space beneath the basket because he can put "soda cans" underneath just like we do at a real grocery store. I have had this shopping cart for several years now and my 3 1/2 year old and 7 year old both play with it. They love to fill it up, and have occasionally brought it to the grocery store with me to use it "for real". They also take it outside sometimes and it holds up on pavement or grass also. The only downside is that it can tip backwards easily with too much pressure on the handle. I would not recommend this for a child that is only beginning to walk as they will rely on the handle too much and likely tip it over. My younger daughter still tips it sometimes by leaning on it too much. Besides that issue it is well made, fun and I still give it 5 stars if used by the appropriate age.Customer Review: Easy to assemble, fun for all ages

Both my 1 year old and 6 year old use this durable, classic grocery cart. It does not tip over easily and works well on all types of surfaces. It took my about 5 minutes to assemble. I like these kind of toys because they inspire imaginative play, unlike more commercial toys which only function for a certain age/gender. With this, we play grocery store or shopping and I can teach my 6 year old about money and quiz him on how to make change in a play environment--he gets to learn by playing.
I would encourage to also get a cash register to go along with it and your own play food. All the kids that come over for playdates end up using it as well---even the ones older than my own.

Let me start by saying my son has had this toy for over three years and it is his absolute favorite. Since he's had it so long I can tell you its very durable. We haven't had any problems. This is the one and only toy he has used every single day since we bought it. He uses it for pretty much everything, but especially for cleaning up. He uses it to gather up all of his toys and take them to his bedroom to put away. He also loves to use it to play store.
The only problem with this toy: when his friends come over they want to play with it too! Maybe I should get a few more of them!
I would highly recommend this toy to anyone!
