Customer Review: Fantastic Toy - Let Your Imagine Run

This toy was purchased for dd around 1 year of age. Although she was a late walker, dd took an immediate interest in it. It is a great toy for hauling "food", empty cool whip/ butter containers, empty food boxes, etc; hauling toys and whatever else your child can find around the house. We use it (dd pushes it) daily to do a clean sweep of the house before bed time.
Pros:
- Dependable Little Tikes Quality
- Seat fits even larger dolls
- Deep enough and wide enough to fit a lot of treasures
- Tall enough for taller/ older children
- Easy to assemble
- Doesn't tip over very easily
- Great height for parent to push around the house (dd likes to push her stroller while we push the shopping cart)
Cons:
- Very tall for young children (they can't reach to the bottom)
Great - must have for all children !

My 2-yr-old daughter has this grocery cart and loves it. We bought it for her when she was about 15 months old, thinking it would be fun for her. It was fun then, but for the wrong reasons. She kept wanting to climb inside it, so we put it away for several months. We brought it out again at about 20 months, and it has been great. She is now 26 months old, and she loves loading it with groceries and sitting her "babies" in it while she shops. She counts items as she puts them in and counts them as she takes them out, and sometimes she'll "ring them up" at her little cash register! I do recommend this toy, but your child needs to be close to two years of age to get full enjoyment from it. I have a friend whose child climbed into his recently and ended up at the emergency room after it turned over. We do like it a lot, now that our daughter knows it's for shopping...not for climbing!Customer Review: Both my 1 1/2 yr. old and 4 yr. old daughters love this toy!

I highly recommend this product for parents looking to make imagination playtime more fun. This was a gift from my parents for my younger daughter but it's a hit w/ both girls. They spend hours playing w/ this in addition to their other kitchen type toys. They not only use the "Little Tykes" food accessory toys my parents bought to go w/ it (highly recommend that as well) but they have fun "shopping" w/ their other toys. They love to push their dolls in the shopping cart's seat and they could spend all afternoon loading the cart w/ their toys as they "shop the house"!! It's VERY durable and my daughters tend to play rough!! My oldest daughter is 4yrs and 41" tall...she still enjoys this toy even thought it's a bit out of her age range but it's made in such a way it works great for both my 1 1/2 yr. old and even on up in age to my 4 yr. old so you'll get years use from this toy!!Customer Review: A Make-Believe MUST!!!!!

I purchased this for my grandson the moment he started walking at 11 months and for the last 8 months it's been one of his very favorite toys. He loves to put his teddy bear in the "child's seat" and go shopping. The shopping cart is sturdy and balanced. This was wonderful when he first started walking because it helped him walk and he felt so competent! At first he would bump into walls because he didn't know how to turn it but as he's gotten older he turns it and pushes it everywhere. I purchased plastic fruit and canned goods for the cart so he could really go shopping! He will say "bye bye" and go to the "store" after I tell him what I want. He'll come back and hand me the cucumber I asked him to get, etc. I can't say enough good things about the shopping cart's educational value as well as the fun he's had with it....and he'll be able to use it well into the future!Customer Review: Durable, practical, excellent for pretend play!

Six months ago for Christmas, I had purchased a pretend play farmer's market for my almost 2-year-old daughter. However, upon the purchase, I realized that she would enjoy the experience much more if she had a shopping cart to go with it. After perusing over the products available at the local toy store, I chose this. Not only did it look more durable than the other carts, but it also was more pleasing to the eye. A bonus feature I found was it has a "seat" up front to put her teddy bear or doll in (none of the others had this feature), just like when going to the grocery store with Mommy! To this day, this shopping cart is one of her most used toys, and it doesn't show any signs of falling apart anytime soon. In addition, it was also one of the easiest "assembly required" toys I have had to put together (by myself, no less). I am so thankful I found this product!
