My 13 month old ended up with two rocking horses and this puppy at Christmas due to lack of family communication. If she would have only recieved this one, I think it would be used more. One of her ponies sings while she rides it so of course that's her favorite. The only bad thing about this one is she learned almost right away that she can stand on the seat and rock it. It's really low to the ground. I can't leave it in her room unless I'm in there because I don't want her to climb on it and knock a tooth out! But, she does like it. When I bring it out, she keeps saying "puppy, puppy!" and climbs on by herself.Customer Review: Great entertainment!

I bought this rocking puppy as a gift for my daughter on her 1st birthday. My little sister had one like it and loved it! So with the past experience with this little tikes toy, I just knew my daughter would love it too!
She enjoys sitting on it and watching her Teletubbies. It is so sturdy and if the child happens to fall off, it isn't far and I've never had my daughter cry when she fell from it (which she hardly ever does). I would definitely recommend this toy for any child. It is one of the best toys and you'll surely get your money's worth! It lasts forever!

I'm sure this is a great toy for typical kids. But is great for my very big three year old that is special needs and can't do other activities. He is a very busy boy and likes to move a lot He often "stims" in front of the TV watching one of his favorite movies. So now he can rock on it and watch a movie, and he doesn't "stim" hardly at all! It glides across the carpet and is very durable. Even my five year has been caught enjoying it. It is worth every penny and helps my son that stims a lot and can't enjoy other toys to have some fun! I ordered the Rocking Puppy for my 16-month old for Christmas and was pleasantly surprised at its size, stability and overall sturdiness. He's already attempted daredevil feats by standing on the seat of it and rocking, to which I was opposed to at first, but when the puppy didn't buck him off, I soon saw how stable this thing really is for a little one. It's nearly impossible to flip it! I recommend this for any kid who loves to stand in the rocking chair, climb the couch and do every other thing Mama tells you not to do, because it is a much safer alternative. :-)Customer Review: everybody loves to rock!

Every kid I know loves this toy! We bought it for my daughter's first birthday. All the kids at the party - ages 9 months to 3 years took a turn on it! We have had rocking toys before that didn't rock much - they were more for show. This dog really rocks, is low in height so is easy for little ones to get off and on by themselves (and safer in case of falls than a chair would be) and is made by Little Tikes so is nearly indestructable! My kids both love it and play with it often. I would recommend this to anybody who has kids ages 2-3 and under...
