Toys and Games Reviews of Little Tikes Push & Ride RacerCustomer Review: Great toy! Summary: 5 Stars
I bought this toy for my son when he was about 15 months old because it was the middle of winter and we were cooped up in the house with a newborn and I needed more things to entertain him! He absolutely loves this toy and I am so happy I bought it. He rides it all over the house, now that it is summer he takes it outside, and he loves putting things in the little shelf behind him (like his sippy cup). It's easy for him to get on and off and to ride it, it's low enough that he doesn't get hurt if he falls off - the only problem is that sometimes he tries to stand on it, so you do have to supervise. But I really love it, I put it together myself, in about 30 minutes. I would highly recommend this toy!
Customer Review: Love it for my 15 month old! Summary: 5 Stars
I sought out this particular push toy for my 15 month old daughter because it is a basic, no bells and whistles push toy. And she loves it! She loves to take this outside and push it up and down our neighborhood sidewalk. It is lightweight so she is able to turn the toy in different directions and even though it is lightweight it rarely tips over. She also loves the space between the seat and handle bar to put her "treasures" she finds or her favorite stuffed bunny. We are both very pleased with this toy and would highly recommend it to a friend. My only complaint is that great toys like this one are not available in most stores presumably due to it's lack of music or flashing lights.
Customer Review: The best push toy for a 1-year-old Summary: 5 Stars
My 1-year-old inherted this push toy, along with four others, from various relatives. This is the one he uses, for pushing or for riding. The others serve as cars to crash this one in to.The key features that make him choose this are: (1) The front wheels don't turn. A car with turning front wheels is a bad idea for pushing since you can't hold onto the steering wheel when pushing. (2) The back push handle is the right height. Others are too short or don't have one at all. For me (Dad), I like the durability and lack of sharp edges. This car went through some large number of relatives before getting to us. It still holds up, even after I took a few turns riding it myself.
Customer Review: Mission essential Summary: 4 Stars
This is a good push/ride toy for your money. The wheels were a little aggravating to put together, but for Miss A (our 11 month old daughter), it was love at first sight. She started climbing all over it and pushing it around immediately. She has really learned to balance more on her feet, and has started walking unassisted, two weeks later. It does not steer left or right, which keeps it from wobbling away, and seems to be a nice weight: light enough to be manipulated, but not so light that it goes flying out from underneath the kid when she leans on it. As a new mom who's a little on the OCD side about procuring safe, efficient baby products, I say go for it.
Customer Review: Love it - very pleased Summary: 5 Stars
I found out after doing a lot of online research that this product was discontinued. All of the reviews were fabulous, so I was determined to find it even though I could no longer get it in stores. I got it online and I am very pleased. It is a no frills, push/ride toy that is very stable. My 10 month old really enjoys it and will be able to grow with it. It has none of the annoying buttons, bells and whistles that so many of the other toys have. This is very simple and not overly stimulating or loud the way the rest of them are. Too bad Little Tikes decided to follow the crowd and create more unnecessarily complicated products.
